Second Wind Fund expands therapy to rural & frontier youth at risk for suicide

Second Wind Fund (SWF) provides therapy for youth at risk for suicide who are facing financial or social barriers to treatment. More than 4,000 Colorado youth in 15 counties have been referred to SWF by their school mental health staff.

Second Wind Fund is expanding to provide therapy to Colorado rural and frontier schools via a new secure, interactive video pilot program for areas where appropriate face to face therapy cannot be provided.

o Serving middle school and high school students

o In underserved rural and frontier areas of Colorado o Experienced, licensed SWF authorized therapists

o Using secure, live, interactive video conferencing o HIPAA compliant, encrypted software
