Sara Allard, Recruitment Specialist

Sara joined CRHC in November 2007 and became a Recruitment Specialist in the CPR Program in May 2008. Originally from upstate New York, Sara earned a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from The State University of New York at Oneonta. From there, she gained non-profit experience at The Community AIDS Research and Education Service, and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. Having recently moved from Southern California to Denver in October 2007, Sara has been very busy exploring the great outdoors of Denver!

Cherith Chapman, Workforce Programs Manager

Cherith joined CRHC in July 2005. In September 2005, Cherith became a Recruitment Specialist for the Colorado Provider Recruitment (CPR) program and she became Workforce Programs Manager in March 2008. Cherith has lived in Denver for 9 years and has worked in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. She has a BS in Business Administration from Berea College in Berea, KY. In her free time she enjoys reading, learning, and taking part in outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and swimming.

Shelly Collings, Development Coordinator

Shelly worked at CRHC from 1998-2005 in various capacities, including Program Manager, Finance Manager, and Administrative Director. After a 2 and a half year hiatus, she is back as CRHC’s Development Coordinator. Shelly is focusing on grant writing and event/program development. Shelly is a Colorado native and has Masters Degrees in both Health Administration and Business Administration.

Christy Crosser, Interim CAH Director

Christy joined CRHC as the Interim CAH Director in February 2008. She earned her masters degree in education from Colorado State University and has a bachelor degree of science in community health education and public administration from the University of Utah. Her experience includes 4 years as a health educator and clinic manager for a federally-funded family planning and women’s health start up clinic in Utah; 4 years with the American Heart Association as a trainer and in fund development; 15 years as a regional manager with JSI Research & Training Institute office in Denver and the training center for an eight-state region and a federally funded health care delivery program; and 2 years as a regional program consultant and project officer for the federal Department of Health and Human Services also in Denver. Her most recent experience was as the project manager for the Rural Hospital Performance Improvement Project located in the Mississippi Delta Region.

Cari Fouts, Program Director

Cari joined CRHC as Program Director in June of 2008. She has over 15 years of healthcare experience in direct patient care, outreach and marketing, and quality and patient safety. Cari has worked extensively with both rural and urban hospitals. After moving to Colorado her freshman year in high school (go Chatfield Chargers!), Cari earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College and later went on to receive her MBA in Marketing. As Program Director at CRHC, Cari is responsible for overseeing the Critical Access Hospital and the Rural Health Clinic programs. Outside of work, Cari teaches group fitness classes, and she enjoys skiing, hiking and biking in the mountains with her family.

Sheri Glischinski, Program Assistant

Sheri joined CRHC in April 2008 as a Program Assistant for the RHC and CAH Programs as well as for Marketing and Outreach. She will assist in providing resources, information, education, and technical assistance. Sheri is currently working on an A.A. degree in Health Information Technology. Her specialties are research, event planning, database and record management. She is an active volunteer for the Women’s Vision Foundation, Donor Alliance, and University of Colorado Hospital.

Terri Hurst, Policy Analyst

Terri began working as the Policy Analyst for CRHC in March 2008. As Policy Analyst, Terri assesses and reports on the needs, barriers, and issues surrounding rural communities throughout the state. A returning Colorado resident, Terri received a BA in Sociology & Human Services from Fort Lewis College, Durango, in 2000. In 2005, she earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has extensive experience conducting qualitative research and previously lived in Salt Lake City, UT where she provided direct services to marginalized populations using a harm reduction approach.

Rich Marquez, Rural Health Clinic Program Coordinator

Rich joined CRHC in May of 2007 as the Rural Health Clinics Program Coordinator. As Program Coordinator, Rich provides resources, information, education, and linkages to Colorado’s Rural Health Clinics. Rich is a California native and earned a bachelors degree in Ethnic Studies from the University of California Berkeley in 1997. In 2001, Rich moved to Colorado to attend the University of Northern Colorado where he earned a masters degree in Public Health. Rich has over five years of program coordination experience from local tobacco prevention and cessation programs to national level stroke prevention and outreach efforts. Rich is an avid skier and enjoys hiking, camping, music and cooking.

Aaron Ortiz, Recruitment Specialist

Aaron became CRHC’s newest Recruitment Specialist in May 2007. As a Recruitment Specialist, Aaron works with the Colorado Provider Recruitment (CPR) Program, working with healthcare workers and facilities around the state. A Colorado native, Aaron graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in History. Before joining CRHC, Aaron worked for both for-profits and non-profits, including the Boulder Shelter for The Homeless, Boulder County Cares, and Polycom. Aaron is an avid runner and recently completed his first marathon! He also enjoys reading, climbing, and intramural sports.

Callie Preheim, Marketing and Outreach Coordinator

Callie joined CRHC in September of 2005. She coordinates a variety of CRHC's marketing and outreach programs, the annual conference and special events, and various programs. Callie is CRHC's webmaster and is in charge of the Special Delivery Newsletter and the monthly bulletin, Express Delivery. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Math and Spanish. A native of Colorado, Callie enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, traveling, playing the guitar, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ron Seedorf, Emergency Preparedness Manager

Ron joined CRHC in February 2005, and is responsible for the Rural AED grant, the Health Care Funding Partnership project, and the BioTerrorism Program. Ron comes to us from Yuma, Colorado with a BS in Business Management from the University of Northern Colorado. He has over twenty years in private business experience, has been active in EMS for fifteen years, and has been an EMT-Intermediate for the past ten years. Prior to coming to the Center, he worked at Yuma District Hospital as Grants Manager and Trauma Coordinator.

Lynne Swanson, Business Manager

Lynne joined CRHC in February 2007 as the Business Manager. Lynne has over 16 years of experience in operations and financial management with both non-profit and for profit companies. Lynne has attended both Arapahoe and Aurora Community Colleges, focusing on English and Accounting. In her free time, Lynne enjoys spending time with her children.

Elke Webb, Program Assistant

Elke joined CRHC in May of 2008 as a Program Assistant for the Colorado Provider Recruitment (CPR) Program as well as for Marketing and Outreach. A Colorado native, Elke graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Biology and Sociology. As an undergraduate, Elke interned with the JSI Research & Training Institute office. In her free time, Elke enjoys hiking, camping, dancing and reading.

Andrea Williams, Executive Assistant

Andrea joined the CRHC in May 2008 as the Executive Assistant. Originally from Ohio, Andrea served on active duty in the U.S. Army from 1989 until 1996. After an honorable discharge from military service, she began working in the non-profit sector at Pikes Peak Mental Health. From there, she worked for Community Partnership for Child Development, Pikes Peak Community Action Agency, America’s Family, and the Pikes Peak Youth Assessment Center. She also volunteers on a subcommittee of the Colorado Springs Diversity Forum, where she assists with organizing the annual diversity fair for the city. Andrea is currently working on a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration at Colorado Christian University. Andrea has lived in Colorado since 1995, and is the proud mother of three children.

Lou Ann Wilroy, Executive Director

Lou Ann joined CRHC in November 2001 as the Critical Access Hospitals Director. Her background is in healthcare management consulting, hospital administration and clinic management. She has previous experience as a rural outreach coordinator for Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming. Lou Ann has a BA in Psychology from the University of Tennessee and post-graduate certification in Medical Staff Services. Lou Ann became CRHC's Executive Director in August 2007.
