Outreach Coordinator
Rhea Mech
As the Outreach Coordinator, Rhea works closely with both the Outreach and Programs teams to promote events and workshops, put together marketing materials, and enhance member relations. Rhea brings a wealth of experience in health and wellness programming, marketing communications, and community initiatives. At the University of Denver, where she earned her BA in Communication Studies, Rhea served as a Peer Educator with the Health and Counseling Center, developing and facilitating workshops for students on topics such as sexual health, mental health, and gender-based violence prevention. She also has experience working in the Colorado non-profit sector, as an intern with a food system based non-profit, managing social media channels and fostering community partnerships. Rhea is so excited to bring her diverse skill set and dedication to enhancing healthcare services to the Colorado Rural Health Center. Although she’s originally from the Chicago area, Rhea has fallen in love with Colorado’s mountains, sunshine, and lifestyle. Outside of work, you can find her hiking, perusing local thrift stores, or trying new coffee shops.
