The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and State Offices of Rural Health have set aside November 15, 2012 as National Rural Health Day to showcase Rural America; increase awareness of the unique healthcare issues facing rural communities; and highlight the efforts of State Offices of Rural Health and others to address those issues. Help CRHC Celebrate National Rural Health Day!
CRHC has organized a number of events to celebrate National Rural Health Day. We will be hosting a luncheon at St. Vincent Hospital in Leadville, followed by a tour of the facility. Chuck Reyman, Vice President of Communications at the Colorado Health Foundation, will be speaking as well. Please RSVP to th@coruralhealth.org if you plan to attend this event.
We are also holding a coloring contest in elementary school classrooms across Colorado. Drawings will be posted online in a gallery and a winner will be chosen from each community.

Rules:
- Photos must be a minimum 72 dpi, preferably 300 dpi
- Accepted file formats are .jpeg, .png, .eps, or .psd
- Categories include Colorado Landscape, Rural Life and Health Facilities
- Photos must be taken in Colorado
- Entrants may submit one photo per category
Enter by November 9th to win! Email your photo submission(s) to ga@coruralhealth.org. One winner per category will be selected to receive a $25 gift card. Please include your name, contact information, location of photo and a photo caption with your submission.
By submitting your photo you give Colorado Rural Health Center permission to use and distribute your photo in print, web and other publications and marketing materials without further compensation.
