2015 Kaiser Permanente Loan Repayment

Attention Safety Net Clinic HR staff and Program Managers!

Last month we sent notification about the upcoming application cycle for the 2015 Kaiser Permanente Loan Repayment for Safety Net Clinical Support Staff program (KPLRP), which opens on January 1st and runs through January 31st, 2015. This loan repayment program is administered through the Colorado Community Health Network (CCHN), and is intended to help ease the burden of prior educational debt for clinical support staff in exchange for one year service commitment to the safety net clinic. The KPLRP will help modernize and expand the safety net workforce by supporting recruitment and retention of high performing clinical support staff committed to serving in underserved areas. For more information on this program, view the program flyer to the right.

CCHN will be hosting a kick off call for KPLRP on Thursday, Dec. 18th from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. This kick off call will provide information for human resources staff and program managers at safety net clinics that will be helpful for supporting your staff as they apply for the KPLRP. Topics covered will include an overview of the program and application process, program requirements and eligibility, the role of HR staff/program managers, and helpful tips for marketing the program to your staff and supporting applicants through the process. CCHN staff will also be available to answer questions about the program during this call.

Please feel free to pass this invite on to other program managers and HR staff at your safety net clinic who would benefit from this webinar & call. Last year eight providers in rural areas were awarded. We would love to see even more rural providers recognized for their outstanding work and dedication to their communities!
