Throughout the next 9 months, we’ll be reviewing the ICD-10 transition and implementation process through webinars (free for CRHC members / $49 for each webinar for non-members). Besides guiding you through ICD-10 implementation, Road to 10 also has training videos for Physicians and clinic staff. Whether you’ve taken steps to get started yet, or not, you and your staff should start this process immediately, in order to be ready for ICD-10 implementation on October 1, 2015.

This is a “treasure chest” of resources and references to help you with your transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10, so your clinic and staff are ready for October 1, 2015. Whether you choose the Online Implementation Guide or the manual implementation Guide for Small Physician Offices, you will be able to create your own project management plan for getting all the tasks done so your clinic staff are working together for a successful implementation, October 1, 2015.

CRHC will be hosting 5 Billing and Coding workshops throughout Colorado between Feb. and Aug., 2015. We don’t have dates and places identified yet, but if your email addresses is on our Billing and Coding Communications distribution list — you will be aware of what’s coming up. As with other CRHC services, CRHC members will be eligible for a discounted registration fee for the workshops.

CHIMA coffee chats are happening all around the state. If you can’t find one in your area, ask how you can get one started… These events are a great way to sharpen your ICD-10 coding skills and network with other coders, office managers, and HIM Directors.
