CEO Update: Celebrating Rural
Each year I look forward to connecting with you, our rural members, during webinars, phone calls, site visits, and conferences. This year, as with many items we’ve had to be creative with staying connected. I’m so proud of our CRHC team for pulling together to finds ways to continue to meet our rural members’ needs. This year, we are hosting our first ever virtual Annual Conference! We are super excited about the opportunities that a virtual event offers, such as lower costs for attendees and even more educational opportunities.
The virtual Annual Conference runs from Wednesday, October 28th – Friday, October 30th. Wednesday is a day dedicated to interactive workshops with our CAH Workshops, Grant Writing Workshop, RHC Practice Management, and MAT on Wheels, Bringing Treatment to You. Then Thursday and Friday, we head into our Annual Conference with our Keynote Speaker, Bill Auxier to talk about What Rural Health Leaders Are Saying: Best Practices for Rural Health Leaders, Healthcare and the Americans with Disabilities Act, Integrated Care, HIPAA Compliance and Information Security, Telemedicine, Fiscal Issues on the Ballot, CAH Billing, Pandemic Planning, Combating Suicide in Rural Communities, Housing Equity, COVID 19 Impact on Physician Compensation, Increasing Medial Student choice of Rural Family Medicine, CMS Price Transparency Regulation, Advancing Health Equity in Rural, Policy Updates, Grow Your Own APRNs, Patient Navigation, Ending Intergenerational Ageism to Enhance Health Outcomes, Hospital Strength INDEX, Healthcare Coalitions, the Impact of COVID 19 on Rural Emergency Departments, Washington Policy Update with the National Association of Rural Health Clinics and Mindful Leadership. WOW, that’s a full agenda – one of the advantages of being virtual, CRHC can offer out more educational opportunities that will be available to you to review up to six months post conference.
In addition to all this great education, CRHC is able to offer connection with exhibitors that have some fun passport games through the APP to engage you! PS – They also have prize drawings as usual this year!
Without support from our dedicated sponsors each year, we would not be able to offer such a robust educational opportunity! We’d like to thank our 2020 annual rural health conference sponsors:
