A Rural Health Clinic in southeast CO is seeking a full-time Family Physician to practice outpatient, inpatient, ER, and optional endoscopy!

This Rural Health Clinic and Critical Access Hospital are looking for an excellent BC/BE Family Physician to join their team full-time to care for a small community of patients of all ages, including many ranchers and farmers throughout the county.  You will assume the role of Medical Director in the RHC and will oversee two Advanced Practice Providers.  The position is a two weeks on, one week off.  The two weeks of practice will include one week of straight clinic (18-20 patients/day) and one week of light clinic (5-6 patients/day) with inpatient and ER.  Clinic days are Monday through Friday 7:30am – 6:00pm, plus Saturdays 9:00am – 1:00pm only when you are on call at the hospital.  During the week at the hospital you will admit/discharge patients to in an acute bed, skilled swing bed and/or long term swing bed.  You will take ER call, perform administrative duties at the hospital and admit/round on inpatients. This facility is able to support a J-1 visa waiver.

The hospital is a 25 bed certified Critical Access Hospital offers an onsite lab, radiology, skilled nursing services, 24/7 emergency services, Physical Therapy, long-term care, ambulance services, and a specialty clinic with ultrasound, podiatry, cardiology, chiropractic services, a sleep clinic, dentistry, and dietary/nutrition services.
