CEO Update: Conference Season
Summer is winding down and schools are back in session, which always means conference season for us adults. CRHC is once again excited to welcome you in person to the Annual Rural Health Conference and we are ready to see your smiling faces!
On the first day of the conference, October 19th, CRHC will host the pre-conference day with three workshop opportunities – Critical Access Hospital, Credentialing Certification and Safety Assurance Factors for EHR Resilience. Each of these workshops are uniquely designed for a hands-on experience.
This year our Annual Conference, October 19 – 21, is being held in Colorado Springs for the first time in several years. CRHC took a focus on presentations intended to build you up and grow your knowledge. The conference kicks off with a Leadership presentation from Jason McCormick, hailing from the Western Slope and a past CEO and CFO of two of our critical access hospitals. His presentation will focus on strengthening employee engagement, retention, recruitment and productivity through implementing a business operating system (BOS). A BOS is an intentional architecture of team leadership practices.
The conference will also explore topics such as Just Culture, which focuses on accountability and open communication, Building Healthcare Worker Resiliency, Mental Health and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Additional sessions will provide an avenue to explore funding or discover opportunities such as USDA funding, Rural Stimulus Grant through SB22-200, Rural Connectivity Program, Telehealth, HIPAA and Compliance, Remote Patient Monitoring, Access to quality care and everyone’s favorite State and Federal Policy.
While education is a key goal, we recognize the vast opportunity for networking at breakfast, lunch, dinner, breaks and happy hours.
