A Rural Health Clinic in northeast Colorado is seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner looking to providing excellent family medicine in a quaint, friendly, farming and ranching community!

A Rural Health Clinic is looking for a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner with at least one full year of experience to practice family medicine in their outpatient clinic and some nursing home care as well. You will work four days per week with a Tuesday through Friday schedule. There is no call. Daily activity consists of everything from DOT examinations, to typical URI’s, pain, ear aches, dermatology and well-child visits. Pre-natal and sports medicine care are also part of the job.  You will be expected to complete patient charts in a timely manner, and actively participate in quality initiatives.

You will join a team of one Physician and one Physician Assistant. The clinic uses NextGen for EMR, and is one of two Rural Health Clinics in Northeast Colorado under ownership of the hospital. The patient population consists of people with private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and the uninsured. A sliding fee scale is offered at this facility. The clinic is located 28 miles from the 12 bed admitting hospital, which provides services consistent with a primary care hospital with the exception of obstetrics.
