Thank you for your interest in working with us! As Colorado’s leading non-profit recruitment service for rural and urban underserved areas, Colorado Provider Recruitment (CPR) is locally based and has long-standing relationships with hospitals and clinics throughout the state.
CPR is a service of the Colorado Rural Health Center and recruits for primary care positions exclusively in Colorado. CPR Supports employers, like you, in finding the ideal healthcare provider for your open position. Our staff works with providers looking for a rural experience. We understand rural life is not for everyone and that lifestyle is as important as a clinical match.

We contact providers, who have personal and professional attributes making them a quality candidate for your specific need, about your open position. When a provider shows interest in your vacancy, we provide your hiring manager with a CV/resume and specifics detailing their professional and personal needs and interests.
Throughout recruitment, CPR provides you with additional information or assistance, as needed, including development of a recruitment and retention plan, evaluation of loan repayment eligibility, regional salary statistics, J-1 Visa waiver program regulations and much more.

Colorado Loan Repayment Programs
Colorado is excited to offer loan repayment programs for eligible healthcare providers! If you are working in Colorado at an eligible employer and meet the program requirements, you are welcome to apply. Colorado provides the following loan repayment options:
Federal loan repayment program, administered by Health Resources and Services Administration through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, offering up to $60,000 for a full time, two-year service commitment. To learn more or apply, please visit http://nhsc.hrsa.gov.
Federal loan repayment program, administered by Health Resources and Services Administration through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, offering up to %60 percent of the total unpaid loan amount for a full time, two-year service commitment. State loan repayment program, administered by Colorado’s Primary Care Office, offering up to $105,000 for a full-time, three-year service commitment. To learn more or apply, please visit www.coloradohealthservicecorps.org.
State loan repayment program, administered by the Colorado Community Health Network (CCHN) for Safety Net clinical support staff. The program offers up to $10,000 for a one year commtiment. To learn more and apply, please visit www.cchn.org.

J1 Visa waiver program
International Medical Graduates (IMGs) comprise a large percentage of the pool of physicians available and are a great resource for filling a vacancy in a rural community. Colorado supports the J-1 Visa waiver program by allowing up to 30 J-1 Visa physicians to practice in rural or urban underserved communities across the state.
