Peer Review Network
Are you looking for a cost-effective, non-biased peer review service?
The program offers specialty–matched, confidential, medical opinions from a rural physician, for a rural physician, based on an objective review of medical records. The network not only provides a cost-effective way to manage peer review requirements, but also provides an effective means to improve patient care through identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Reviews include evaluations of:
• Medical assessments and treatments
• Medication use
• Use of blood and blood components
• Appropriateness of operative and other procedures
• Appropriateness of care
• Autopsy findings
• Adverse events, including sentinel events
• Review of radiology screens
The CRHC Peer Review Network compiles the National Integrated Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (NIAHO®) and the Joint Commission on Accreditation on Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) Accreditation Requirements.
