The Swing Bed Manual is a quick reference guide for Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) to better understand the Medicare regulations associated with Swing Bed patients. It is not intended to be an all‐inclusive, comprehensive manual. However, it does offer resources where more detailed information may be found.
