9:00am – 12:00pm – Medicare Part A and B, Surgical Package, Modifiers and Incident-To Rules

• We will have an overview of Medicare Part-A and Part-B and present the main similarities and differences with Medicaid for Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics. Also covered in the morning session will be the Surgical Package for CAHs and RHCs as well as modifier usage.  We will also discuss who all can do services Incident-To in the RHC setting.

1:30pm – 4:00 pm – 2021 E/M Coding Guideline Updates, Annual Wellness Visits, Advanced Care Planning, Transitional Care Management and Chronic Care Management

• This afternoon session will cover the new 2021 E/M Coding Guideline updates, the necessary changes to documentation, Annual Wellness Visits, Advanced Care Planning services, Transitional Care Management and Chronic Care Management and the documentation necessary to support the same. Copies of the AMA Technical Corrections will be provided during this session to use as references.
