CEO Update: Resilience and Flexibility
To our members and partners,
At CRHC, we continue to be amazed by your perseverance, resilience, and faithful service in your communities. It has been an honor to call you our members. As the summer approaches, we are all cautiously looking ahead to the future of this pandemic. I wanted to let you know that CRHC is also closely monitoring the situation as we plan our summer travels. Normally, summer is a time when much of our staff is on the road to visit facilities, perform quality improvement services, and listen to your voices as we plan our advocacy work. This year will be a bit different. We have your safety in mind when I say that we will err on the side of being cautious before sending staff from the metro area into your communities.
With that in mind, I know many of us in this new normal have been using platforms such as Zoom, Go To Meeting, and MS Teams. It’s strange and a bit uncomfortable seeing yourself on the screen but it sure is nice to see everyone else! It brings a bit of normal back. I’d like to thank you for your patience as we work out the kinks in the technology that we will likely have to rely on to conduct some of our summer work. Be on the lookout for a Save the Date for our regional Quality Meetings and HIT Innovation Meetings, which will both happen virtually this year. Our team is working to ensure you don’t miss out on opportunities for education and networking; it’ll just look a bit different.
It continues to be a rough time for all and especially for you, our rural facilities, providers and all first responders. Thank you, again, for all you are doing to keep your communities safe and well. CRHC is here for you and we continue to advocate daily on behalf of all rural communities in Colorado.
