Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) enrolled in the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Program (MBQIP) are required to submit OP-27, Influenza vaccination coverage among health care personnel (HCP) to existing National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) beginning October 2015. While some CAHs have existing NHSN accounts required for submitting the data to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) (and subsequently CMS, then MBQIP), many CAHs do not.
