CEO Update: Credentialing Workshop!
It’s nearly October and that means CRHC’s Annual Rural Health Conference is just a few weeks away and I’m excited to see everyone in person. While I can’t wait to visit with you, I hope you take the opportunity to network with your peers and to learn more about the products and services our exhibitors have to offer this year. Additionally, we have a fantastic line up of sessions.
This year, we are hosting a workshop for credentialing staff. Held on Wednesday October 19, this special workshop is separate from the annual conference registration but it is still held in the beautiful Antlers Colorado Springs Hotel.
Over the years we have heard of the struggles with credentialing in a rural facility and have designed the workshop to address these struggles. Specifically, the workshop will increase your knowledge around credentialing and the enrollment process to allow you the confidence to effectively navigate the provider enrollment process.
Credentialing is the process by which insurance carriers, facilities, and hospitals verify that a medical provider meets various quality and regulatory standards. Entities do this by reviewing items such as an applicant’s education, medical licensure, state and federal registrations, certifications, professional liability coverage, as well as many other documents. This time-consuming task requires precise attention to detail and follow through. ArchPro’s credentialing team will ensure that your organization’s credentialing files are completed with accuracy and in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Enrollment refers to the process of requesting participation in a health insurance network and submitting required documentation to third party payers to gain approval into payer networks and allow providers to bill for services.
At CRHC, your State Office of Rural Health and Rural Health Association we are always striving to offer the most relevant, cost-effective education and resources to our members. This workshop is taught by industry leaders, and we hope you can join us! Register here for the conference! And register for the workshop!
