CEO Update: Conference Registration is Open!
I had the privilege of going out to the mountains last weekend to give a presentation on Rural Health to the Colorado Health Facilities Authority and then stayed to have some FUN! Every time I get to go to the mountains, I leave feeling refreshed and reenergized after enjoying some cooler weather. And it makes me think it’s almost Fall and Pumpkin Spice Season. Fall is also the time we bring together our rural members for the Colorado Rural Health Center’s Annual Conference. This is always an exciting time for staff to see you, our members and partners!
The Annual Conference is dedicated exclusively to rural health issues and is tailored for rural hospitals, clinics, emergency preparedness entities, and other rural health facilities. Our conference provides information, resources, and networking opportunities to administrators, executives, providers, quality, and technical staff, as well as partners concerned with rural health and access to care.
This year we are so excited to welcome our Keynote Speaker. David Whitling, from COPIC, will present his session, “AI and It’s Upcoming Impact on Healthcare.” In this presentation, David will explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming medical practices by enhancing clinical decision support and other applications. We’ll learn about COPIC’s ongoing efforts to understand the implications of these AI systems on patient safety, professional liability, and emerging regulatory frameworks, as well as initiatives to help practitioners navigate these new technologies effectively. Additionally, we have presentations focused on Rural Connectivity, Workforce, Revenue Cycle Management, Policy, Mental Health, Housing, Medicare Updates, Suicide Prevention, Integrating Care, Colorado Rural Futures Work, Medicare Advantage, and a Thriving Rural Healthcare Future.
